Meet the Team

Dr. Katherine Ha

Katherine Ha, OD

Internship: Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, CA; Heritage Optical Center in Detroit, MI; Veteran Administration Hospital in Walla Walla, WA; Castle Eye Center in Atwater, CA

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.): Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry, Pomona, CA

BA: Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology, University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA

Member: American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, Inland Empire Optometric Society

'I decided to become an optometrist because one of my most vivid memories as a child is getting my first pair of glasses and being awed at seeing individual leaves on trees on the drive back home. Likewise, I want to give my patients that same great experience by helping them achieve clear and comfortable vision. I aim to treat my patients as if they're family, providing the best standard of care with compassion and respect.'

In her free time, Dr. Ha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking her dogs to the dog park or the dog beach, and volunteering at vision clinics throughout Southern California.

Dr. Anne Nguyen

Anne Nguyen, OD

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.): The New England College of Optometry, Boston, MA

BA: University of California Irvine, Irvine, CA

Dr. Nguyen likes to promote good eye health by making sure patients are educated about the latest advances in optometry. For example, advances in contact lenses, new equipment for more thorough ocular health examinations, and refractive surgery options are all great to know about as they could potentially improve a patient's quality of life.

Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen stays busy by keeping up with her husband and two young children.

Dr. Emily Wenzler-Chapman

Emily Wenzler-Chapman, OD

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.): Southern California College of Optometry

BS: University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada.

I have worn glasses since I was in fourth grade, and in High School, I had an optometrist who I thought was the coolest adult ever. We lived in a small town in conservative Western Canada, and this man had a ponytail! I very quickly decided that I also wanted to be an optometrist (my parents preferred this over my previously stated dream of becoming a librarian).

I enjoy reading and sewing and love spending time with my husband and five (!) cats. I am also a huge Futurama fan and can quote entire episodes verbatim.

Dr. Patty Yang

Patty Yang, OD

Internships: Veteran Affairs Hospitals in Palo Alto, CA; Las Vegas, NV; and Tucson, AZ.

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.): Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University (SCCO)

BA: University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

I love providing such a tangible and often immediate gift to people to go from seeing the world as a big blur of colors to realizing the stop sign has the word STOP on it (that was me before I got glasses). It is a great honor to be a part of the process of giving people this ability and a great privilege to be trusted by patients to care for what is probably their most valuable sense. Although I love providing primary eyecare, there's a special part of my heart that belongs to ocular disease and specialty contact lens fittings.

I am spending almost every free minute playing with my two kids, Emery and Oliver, and every other free minute eating fried chicken and Thai food. You'll also find me organizing and cleaning anything and everything in sight.

Dr. Patty Yang

David Rearwin, OD

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.): Southern California College of Optometry

BA: University of Maryland

Optometric practice allows for the realization of untapped potentials for education, work, and other activities. It is great to be able to make a difference in the lives of one's patients.' Dr. Rearwin stands prepared to evaluate, diagnose, and treat many conditions of the eyes and visual system.
