  • Emily Wenzler-Chapman, OD

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.): Southern California College of Optometry

BS: University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada.

I have worn glasses since I was in fourth grade, and in High School I had an optometrist who I thought was the coolest adult ever. We lived in a small town in conservative Western Canada, and this man had a ponytail! I very quickly decided that I also wanted to be an optometrist (my parents preferred this over my previously stated dream of becoming a librarian).

I enjoy reading and sewing, and love spending time with my husband and five (!) cats. I am also a huge Futurama fan and can quote entire episodes verbatim.
